3 tasty breakfast recipes that are nutritious and quick.

For most of us, Springtime is when we start pondering getting back in shape. And whether we want to hear it or not, this all starts with breakfast. Luckily, we happen to be big brekkie fans, so to give you a head start, we wanted to share our current faves. We selected our top 3 tried and tested, delicious, nutritious and speedy combos to kick start the metabolism and get you on the inside track to Summer. 

1. Kiwi, Bluberry and Chia Parfait

  • 2/3 cup chilled coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 kiwi, cubed
  • 1/3 cup blueberries
  • 3 tbsp sliced almonds
  • 1 tbsp agave
  • Natural sweetener, such as Stevia
  • Optional: 1 tbsp vanilla protein powder



2. Avocado Toast with Eggs

  • Crusty multi-grain bread 
  • Half avocado, mashed
  • I egg, poached or cooked sunny side up
  • Chopped green herbs such as cilantro, parsley, chives
  • Finely chopped spring onion and white radish
  • Drizzle of hot sauce, optional


3. The Essential Smoothie

  • Flax or chia seeds
  • Kale or spinach
  • Bananas or mango - fresh or frozen
  • Avocado
  • Apple
  • Almond milk, coconut milk or water
  • Add ice and blend til smooth
